Work Health and Safety Policy
ROSS is aware that all the work related activities present possible safety and health risks.
To prevent the risks ROSS makes efforts to create safe workplaces in all work sites concerned. ROSS tries to create safe and health-risk-free conditions in order to minimize the risks for the workforce and other manpower found in the workplaces or surroundings. The conditions created accord with respective legal Czech Norms and other directives and regulations as defined in quality management directives of ČSN EN ISO 9001 : 2001; in environment directives of ČSN EN ISO 14 001; and in work health safety directives of OHSAS 18 001.
To promote and ensure Work Health and Safety Policy ROSS Holding passes the major measures:
- Work Safety Policy and Work Health Protection are treated as legal norms and priorities of all-social relevance.
- Functioning and on-going quality control system ensuring qualified analysis, evaluations and minimisation of risks at work sites was created; feedbacks are generated and transferred to the all the concerned ensuring permanent safety tips.
- Rigidly and in a consistent manner practical application of all legislative, technical and administrative measures is cared for by analysing the risks ahead and by preventing those.
- Employees are trained to become knowledgeable, and to perform with responsibilities regarding their own work and health safety.
- Employees are educated to evaluate impacts of their activities on others, on working environment, on living environment; subsequently conclusions on safety regulations and workplace safety are drawn.
- Openly ROSS communicates the policy with all employees, concerned parties and public administration.
- From its business partners ROSS enquires active approach to ensure work safety and health protection.
The principles of Work Health and Safety Policy are valid since declared to all ROSS Holding employees who are accountable to abide the policy.
