The hospital project in the Georgian city Tbilisi is in the final working phase, Minister Karel Schwarzenberg visited the project on Friday 13th of May 2011

ROSS is finalizing the works, in the Georgian city Tbilisi, on its biggest foreign project as is the large reconstruction of the hospital, for more than for hundred million CZK. The Czech Minister of the Foreign Affairs Mr. Karel Schwarzenberg visited the hospital project on Friday 13th of May 2011. The visit has been included in the program of the Minister´s official trip around Georgia. The hospital will be, after the final works, thanks to its equipment and high comfort, one of the most modern hospital in the country.

The building itself dates from the late fifties and sixties and because of its reconstruction, it was divided into two parts. In the first half, which is still waiting for its reconstruction, the normal operation was not distracted yet. The main building, which has been completely reconstructed, is close to the final phase. Equipping, its operating and trainning of the stuff is beeing done at the moment.

ROSS Holding, which has been working on the hospital since 2009, has been in charge of the whole reconstruction. During the works, the materials were delivered, mounting of electro-installation, sanitary and professional building works were provided. Only the material that was delivered from the Czech Republic got up to 49 fully loaded big trucks. Georgian company New hospitals is the investor of this reconstruction. ROSS Holding together with HSBC bank are now preparing reinvestment of the whole investment for the investor. The hospital will welcome its first patients at the beginning of July 2011.
